THERAPY

Dr. Dulski provides therapeutic services to young children doing attachment-focused therapy, play therapy and family systems treatments. He also provides Behavioral and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with children, adolescents and young adults. By utilizing an integrative therapeutic approach, Dr. Dulski first evaluates the client’s presenting challenges. He then tailors his therapeutic interventions based on the identified needs and personal desires of each unique client and his or her family. Dr. Dulski’s therapy experiences include individuals presenting with:

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • Anxiety Disorders

  • Depression and other Mood Disorders

  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders

  • Autism Spectrum Disorders

  • Disruptive behavior disorders

  • Family conflict and issues related to divorce

  • Trauma- and Stressor-Related Disorders

  • Intellectual Disabilities

  • Specific Learning Disorders

In treatment, the relationship a client shares with his or her provider is the best predictor of positive therapeutic outcome. As such, Dr. Dulski provides empathic validation in a supportive and non-judgmental environment, creating an atmosphere of safety and security. Insight oriented techniques are then utilized to help a client confront, interpret and clarify the distressing cognitions, emotions and behaviors that are causing them distress. The self-reflective, critical thinking and problem-solving skills learned in treatment help a person navigate through the world in a more adaptive and confident manner. They also allow a person to gain a more flexible and integrated view of themselves and others. Dr. Dulski’s emphasis on utilizing a collaborative and multidisciplinary treatment approach allows for consistency to develop across environments, increasing the probability of a corrective emotional experience.
